Progress
From the
smallest beginnings at the end of the nineteenth century, to a national and
international operation ready for the challenges of the twenty-first century,
this is the proud story of White's removals. It's a story of a hundred years of
consistent, steady and careful progress. Nowhere is this better reflected than
in the changes that have been seen during that time in our transport fleet; from
one horse-drawn dray in 1898 operating in and around Birmingham, to a modern
fleet of removal vehicles covering the U.K., Europe and our services are
available worldwide.

Family Firm
During the
last hundred years we've been responsible for moving hundreds of thousands of
people countless miles, in many other ways we haven't moved at all. The company
is still based in Nechells, Birmingham, where our business began in 1898 and is
still run as a family firm by the descendants of the founder, J.F.White. Through
five generations, the traditional Victorian values of quality and service have
been passed on from fathers to sons. We know that the continuity, and the
consistency it generates, is one of the main reasons why so many people come
back to us time and time again, as well as recommending Whites to their friends
and colleagues.
